Swine Flu Did You Know...? I would like to give you some alternative information on
Swine Flu with facts you will not be told by your doctor or the media. (I
adapted some of this from an article written by Meryl Dorey of the Australian
Vaccination Network.) World Health Organisation Statistics The World Health Organisation (WHO) states on its own website
www.who.int: "This pandemic has been characterized, to date, by a
mildness of symptoms in the overwhelming majority of patients, who usually
recover, even without medical treatment, within a week of the onset of
symptoms." To date (27th July 2009) there have been 816 deaths
from H1N1 worldwide since the start of the so-called pandemic in April
2009. This is carefully monitored by the WHO and published on their website. To put this in perspective: Every year between 500.000 and 1.000.000 people die from
"ordinary" influenza worldwide (1). We also have to keep in mind that any of these statistics do
not tell us how many of these victims had poor immunity or suffered from immunity
lowering chronic diseases which made them more vulnerable. The Role of The Media: Media reports such as "GP and 6 Year Old Girl Die of
Swine Flu" cause unnecessary emotional upheaval and leave a mark even
when a few days later the GP is reported not to have died from H1N1. Once
fear has set in it is hard to eradicate by reason. A few weeks later, after the girl was initially explicitly
reported to be completely healthy before the infection, an official inquest
heard that this girl was born with a rare genetic disorder affecting the
small intestine called microvillus inclusion disease, which causes severe
and often life-threatening diarrhoea. Please read it on BBC news
online The initial news headline was left to work on peoples’ fear
for 3 weeks and caused a mass panic blocking NHS call centres and making
doctors and nurse work overtime. All this was unnecessary, as this victim
turned out to be one of the more unusual cases the WHO mentions. But most
of us have a healthy immune system which will result in a week’s malaise, and
a speedy, full recovery thereafter. I therefore urge you to address all
media headlines and reports of swine flu deaths with caution as often
important facts are omitted. Bacterial Pneumonia, not Swine Flu Between 1918 and 1920 it is estimated that as many as 50 million people around the
world may have died from Swine Flu. Most of
those whose deaths were attributed to influenza - 95% and more - did not die from the flu but were victims of bacterial pneumonia - an easily treatable illness for which antibiotics are very effective (2). Had this
outbreak occurred today rather than almost 100 years ago,
the mortality and morbidity statistics would have been very
different. Vaccine Caused More Deaths than Disease
itself In 1976 another flu epidemic was
expected. Only one person died of it worldwide, but more than 4,000 were seriously injured by the vaccine with 25 confirmed
deaths. That vaccine,
like the current shot, was rushed through without proper testing. The result was more than $3.5 billion in
compensation claims in the US - and this is for a vaccination campaign
which was cut short only 10 weeks after it started
which was meant to protect against an outbreak which never occurred
(3,4). A New Vaccine – An Old Story A new vaccine has been made available to protect against H1N1, but
instead of mercury it is made with oil-based adjuvants. The ordinary influenza shots contain
three strains of flu virus, egg protein, antibiotics, thiomersal (mercury), a
disinfectant, nonoxynol, octoxinol and formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a potent
carcinogen, ie cancer causing agent. (Liz Bevan-Jones: The No
Nonsense Vaccine Handbook, 2006). There is no reason to believe that the H1N1
vaccine will be much different in the toxicity of its chemical/preservative
content. This vaccine will enter the body through
an unnatural route, ie by injection. Your child’s and your own blood will
therefore be directly contaminated with substances that normally would not
reach it. These substances may damage the brain and other organs. Litigation Indemnity for Vaccine
Manufacturers If we follow the lead of the United States, when this vaccine is administered to
children, it will mean 4 additional shots in one year
for kids - 2 of the human influenza vaccine - 2 of the swine flu.
Our children will now be facing in excess of 30 vaccines before
they reach school age if 4 annual flu shots are added to the
childhood vaccination schedule. Big Pharma It was reported that the government of
the UK bought 60 million vaccines, enough for the entire population, although
some GPs have spoken out against the safety of this vaccine, saying
that they would not give it to their own children. (http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/114854/Safety-fear-over-rush-for-swine-flu-vaccine) The US alone has so far spent more
than $1billion on the vaccine which is produced by GlaxoSmithKline and
Baxter International. When you do your sums, these companies are set to gain
in the region of $5 billion from the vaccine worldwide. This vaccine means
big business for some, so governments need to justify the expense. They do
this by relying on the medias’ characteristic inaccurate and sensationalist
reporting which instills fear and anxiety. This way we gratefully part with
our taxpayer’s money, instead of raising the alarm when a government
spends huge sums of money. Make Up Your Own Mind But I urge you to look at the facts and
make up your own mind. Do not blindly trust a vaccine that brings enormous
profit to some, especially when the disease it is supposed to protect
against is not usually life-threatening, and the vaccine may be unsafe. Homeopathy to Help Swine Flu I advise you to look for health
enhancing, safe and natural alternatives. Homeopathy is one such alternative and it has helped
many people to strengthen their immune system and bring them through acute
infections in a gentle way. Should you develop flu-like symptoms, take the
usual advice and stay at home. Take plenty of fluids and get enough bed-rest.
